We are a group of Consulting Human Scientists based in Windhoek offering talent management solutions across the whole employee life cycle. Our primary focus is on the “soft skills” (including customised training program development, training facilitation, executive coaching etc.). Through its carefully selected facilitators, Capacity Trust has managed to train and create awareness across a range of organisations and individuals.

Our mission is to GROW and SUSTAIN organisational capacity through emotional intelligence, leadership, soft skills training, team capacity building, coaching, mentoring and counselling through diverse specialists.
We believe that the foundation of all growth is internal growth, and the main tool for this is a scientific and logical form of Emotional Intelligence that cuts through the fluff and makes growth possible through a real and heartfelt practical understanding of self and others.
Our Team

Siegfried Lange
Personal background
Siegfried Lange, completed his masters in Clinical Psychology with a master’s thesis focusing on the development of emotional intelligence. He has 15 years’ experience in Retail, most of which in management. He worked in various companies like OK Franchise Division (Shoprite), Woermann & Brock and Cashbuild. Siegfried is a well-known radio and Television personality who has a weekly slot on NBC radio and ad-hoc appearances on Tupopyeni (NBC Television). His books “True Emotional Freedom” and “Emotionally Debt Free” have proven to be 2 of the most well-known Namibian Emotional Intelligence resources available on the market. In 2020 he co-authored with eight international authors on change called “Independent Minds, Expert Ideas: How to Thrive in a Changing World”. In 2021 he wrote 2 chapters in the first Human Resource Handbook written by Namibians for Namibians called “HR Practitioners Handbook”.

Dalene Gous
Personal background
Dalene Gous has been a practicing clinical psychologist since 2004, and has extensive experience in the field of psychotherapy and counselling. She has also participated in team building and coaching exercises with corporate clients in large groups, as well as individually. Dalene has a passion for helping people cope with life’s challenges and she is actively involved in front-line assisstance during the Covid-19 pandemic in Namibia. She also uses various methods to make counselling and therapy accessable to anybody through telephonic counselling and video-conferencing. When asked to describe herself, Dalene would start by listing her loves – the Lord, her husband and children, her broader family and friends and the general public. She has a personality that strives towards excellence and compassion, with strenghts that includes empathy, developer and responsibility. Since 2020 Dalene have had been working in Pre-employment Assessments as well as Wellness Intervention Programmes with DEBMARINE NAMIBIA. The Pre-employment Assessments consists of the interpretation of online psychometric tests, completed by all shortlisted candidates. A one hour psychological interview with every shortlisted candidate is held to determine relevant background and personal information. This is then all combined in two reports – a brief and longreport – that is emailed to Debmarine . one working day after the individual session. In this report the results are discussed as well as potential fit with the position applied for. If any psychological warning signs are noticed (for example depression or anxiety markers) this is communicated to Debmarine, but the final decision of employment lies with the company. Furthermore Debmarine requires individual psychotherapy sessions during their Wellness Intervention Programmes, which is based in SFBT – Sollution Focussed Behavioural Therapy, as well as one-on-one therapy sessions with employees on a needs basis to discuss personal growth and obstacles. For these purposes Dalene is involved in the planning and implementation of wellness, change and growth

Valeria Muchero
Personal background
Valeria Muchero has diverse qualifications in Law, Corporate Governance, Insurance, Executive management and Business Coaching. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) qualification from Steinbeis University, Berlin and B.L. plus LL.B Legal qualifications. She is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Management & Corporate Governance (ICM).The extensive experience in the corporate market whilst working in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia sets her apart in terms of business management expertise and service level excellence. Her in-depth subject matter knowledge has facilitated engagements and advisory consultancies in various business re-engineering and human capital development initiatives. She has worked as Company Secretary and Legal Advisor for large institutions such as Vivo Energy Namibia & Botswana; Namibia Airports Company; Namibia Training Authority; Namdeb Diamond Corporation; United Africa Group and Fedsure General Insurance Company, among others.With a deep passion for human capital development and expertise in turn-around strategies for institutions, Ms Muchero is a business consultant effectively using the Coach-Leadership model to unlock and unleash the full potential in teams. Her philosophy embedded in servant leadership principles is to assist management, team leaders and supervisors to empower their people by setting and achieving personal goals which compliment organizational goals..

Silke von Seydlitz
Personal background
BA Communications (UOVS), 1987, B.Hons (German), 1988 and Diploma for Middle Managers, 1991. Silke is an established training expert and voice/speech coach. She has covered training subjects such as presentation skills, voice coaching, self-development, inter-personal skills, Creativity, Culture Change, Customer Care, Time management, and others in particular. Her consulting work started in 1995 and she has developed further in the fields of team building processes and coaching individuals in speech- and presentation skills. Her focus of technical expertise is in the areas of human resources development with an emphasis on the development of individuals. She is particularly capable in soft skills training, which she has combined with one-on-one coaching with a strong emphasis on communication and personal development. She also makes use of personality profiling and career guidance instruments to guide the mentee’s development along the course of natural strengths and abilities. Her book ‘Public Speaking – how to become more confident, relaxed and impressive’ is due to be released this year. She has proven her endurance in the consulting fields of her choice by being ‘in business’ and still growing after 20 years. Pursuing excellence from a strong ethical foundation are her outstanding trademarks.

Lifalaza Simataa

Lifalaza Simataa, a bachelor’s degree holder in industrial psychology with a research paperfocusing on leadership in relations to personality and a undergraduate qualification inPhilosophy, Lifalaza is the newest member to the capacity trust family, who skilfully adds to the development of new programs with vibrant ideas and perspectives. With a key interest inethics and critical thinking based of his philosophy credentials he adds a new dimension to the psychological tools we offer at Capacity Grow. He is currently registered for the master’s in industrial psychology.

Peter von Kühne
Personal background
Peter von Kühne was born and grew up in Namibia. He is by profession a registered Industrial Psychologist and has more than 30 years’ experience as Human Resources Practitioner in middle to senior management positions, in a wide variety of industry sectors. His career started at Namibia Breweries in 1988 as a Payroll Officer from where he progressed to becoming the Group Human Resources Manager at the head office of the O&L Group of Companies in the mid-90s. In the early 2000’s he spent 5 years at PwC in Windhoek where he headed up the HR Advisory Services function, before moving into full-time HR consulting, assisting mostly State-owned Enterprises and local authorities across Namibia. In 2010 he was employed at the Social Security Commission as General Manager: HR until 2015, whereafter he moved to at the Namibia Statistics Agency as HR Executive until March 2022. In addition to the above he served as a Board Member of NHP for a period of 6 years from 2011 to 2017. As a full-time Associate of Capacity Trust, he currently trains and coaches Namibian employees in a wide range of management and supervisory skills and competencies.

Menette Namupembe
Personal background
Menette Namupembe holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Industrial Psychology with a thesis on “Exploring the moderating effect of mindfulness into the relationship between perceived employability and personality”. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Industrial Psychology at the University of Namibia. Her experience ranges from career consultancy, research, and volunteer work. Additionally, she also enjoys helping people reach their potential to contribute to the overall productivity of teams. Menette has recently been certified by Capacity Grow as a trainer of the EQ Capacity Booster Program. Her keen interest in the capacity growth of young professionals toward achieving their full capacity makes her a valuable team member.

Salome Lange
Personal background
Salome Lange has recently completed her high school education. She has taken part in a few small courses and acts as an assistant to Siegfried Lange. In a few months, she will be starting her Psychology course.
